Sam continues to work from home as she did before the pandemic, but Don was laid off from his job making high-end furniture. In an effort to keep a steady income, he joined a crew to work on a scallop boat where he's gone ten days at a time. "Mostly happy he has the opportunity for the experience and funds, but also sad I'll be alone for large swaths of time," said Sam.
